The Limited Liability Company members are Founder\Master Instructor, Acie Mitchell and C.E.O\Co-founder, Andrew Ramirez. Our goal is rather simple; to become the unprecedented authority in the self-defense, defensive tactics and fitness instruction industry for both civilian and law-enforcement. It was our realization that current Reality Based Self-Defense systems are focused heavily on marketing for a quick buck and not so much the practitioners precision, efficacy & safety when executing the techniques. Additionally, most self defense systems make an attempt at installing techniques which are simple to execute (Using gross motor skills), which although accomplished doesn't necessarily have the maximum effect placing that practitioner in harm's way. We believe that quality is first and foremost, taking the clients safety seriously. Quality in our industry is measured by effectiveness of techniques, and mitigation of potentially life-threatening situations, while developing the techniques for easy implementation (using gross-motor skills) which is useful when your heart rate is above 140 bpm and more advanced techniques become complex or darn near impossible. Fitness is a major component in self defense training and as such we found it imperative to provide a carefully engineered fitness program, B.L.A.S.T Fitness, which is meant for all not just self defense practitioners.
